Concrete Repair & Resurfacing in Roseville, CA

Concrete Repair · Roseville, CA

Some Concrete Deserves a Second Life. Some Deserves a Dumpster.

Not every worn slab needs a full replacement. Concrete repair covers the middle ground: sealing and repairing cracks before water makes them worse, resurfacing a slab whose surface has failed while its structure has not, and replacing single broken sections cleanly instead of tearing out a whole yard's flatwork. We do this work across Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln and across the Placer County corridor with the same base-first standards as our new pours.

The judgment call matters as much as the workmanship. Repairing concrete that is past saving wastes your money twice, so every repair quote starts with an honest read: what failed, why, and whether fixing it beats replacing it. When replacement wins, we say so and price both, whether that is a driveway or a patio.

When Repair Is the Right Call

Concrete earns a repair when the slab is structurally sound and the problem is on the surface or in a defined area: a crack or two from normal shrinkage, spalling from age, one section heaved by a root while the rest sits flat. Fixing the damage and the cause together, and only there, keeps good money on good concrete.

Resurfacing shines on slabs that are ugly but solid. A properly bonded overlay gives a worn patio or walkway a fresh wearing surface at well below replacement cost, and it can carry a decorative finish while it is at it.

When Replacement Wins

Cracks that run wide and travel, sections that rock underfoot, slabs settled toward the house: those are base failures, and no surface product fixes a base. An overlay on failed concrete inherits the failure and returns it through the new surface within a couple of winters.

That is why our assessment comes before our quote. If your concrete is past the repair line, we will show you why in plain terms and price the replacement honestly. Nobody needs a repair invoice and a replacement invoice for the same slab.

Fix the Cause, Not Just the Crack

Around here, failed concrete usually has a water story. Clay soil swells against slab edges, winter ponding softens base, roots ride the moisture toward the surface. Patching the symptom without touching the cause books a rematch.

Our repairs come with the cause handled: grading corrected, a French drain where soil holds water against the slab, joints sealed so the base stays dry. The repair lasts because the reason for the damage is gone.

Residential Concrete Repair Across Placer County

Repair calls across Placer County, from Roseville and Rocklin out to Lincoln, Granite Bay and Loomis, tend to involve driveways and patios poured in the 1990s and 2000s that have reached the age where joints open and corners spall. Residential concrete repair in Placer County follows the same rule as our new pours. We find what failed, fix the cause, and match the repair to the concrete around it.

A visit covers the whole slab, not just the crack you called about. Sections that rock, edges that trap water and joints that have opened get flagged so you can decide what to fix now and what can wait. The written quote lists each item with its own price, and repairs are scheduled around the weather so patches cure right.

How We Work

How a Project With RMR Runs

From the first look at the site to the final walk-through, here is exactly how it goes.

1

Walk the Project

We look at the space in person — grades, drainage, access, what comes out and what goes in. You talk directly with the people who will build it, not a salesman.

2

Written Quote

You get a clear written price for the full scope — concrete, walls, turf, irrigation, the whole build — with finish options laid out so you can decide what fits the budget.

3

We Build It

Proper base prep, forms, reinforcement and drainage before anything gets poured or planted. The crew shows up when we say, keeps the site clean, and communicates every step.

4

Final Walkthrough

We walk the finished project together — finishes, cleanup, care instructions for new concrete and turf. Done means you have looked at every part of it and said so.

Can my cracked driveway be repaired instead of replaced?
It depends on why it cracked. Shrinkage cracks in an otherwise flat, solid slab can be repaired and sealed. Wide, traveling cracks with settled or rocking sections mean the base has failed, and repair money there is wasted. We look first and tell you which one you have.
What does resurfacing actually do?
A bonded overlay gives a structurally sound slab a new wearing surface, covering spalling, discoloration and surface wear. It needs solid concrete underneath, correct prep and the right product for outdoor exposure. On the right slab it looks and wears like a new pour.
Can you replace just one section of my patio or walkway?
Yes. Single sections get saw-cut clean, removed, and repoured doweled to the neighboring slabs at matching height and finish. Done right, the repair reads as intentional rather than patched.
Do you lift sunken concrete?
Slab lifting by injection is a specialty we do not perform. Where a slab has sunk, we give you a straight answer on whether section replacement or regrading solves it better, and refer honestly when lifting is genuinely the right tool.
Will the repair match my existing concrete?
New concrete next to old always starts a shade different and weathers toward a match. We get the finish and joint lines right so the repair blends as it ages, and we tell you up front what the first months will look like.
